The History Man

The History Man can bring over 4,000 years of world history to your school or museum, from the Stone Age to 1960’s America.  He has a wealth of handling items, and costume for dressing up.

Our clients are spread far and wide, from London to Leeds and Lancashire.  We are not afraid to travel, whether the booking is for one day or for a museum education week!

The History Man’s presentations fit in with the National Curriculum, and will entertain all members of the family.  His enthusiasm is infectious!

ADAPTING TO COVID-19
Dear Teachers! As you are considering your bookings for the coming academic year, and having to adapt to the new social-distancing measures, we realise that we are going to have to make a few adjustments to the way Mr History conducts his sessions in your schools.

Working with smaller group sizes, he will lay out the items on 2-metre-square canvas mats to enable the children to maintain distance while they go round them in a circuit, and will supply them with gloves to avoid cross-contamination when handling the objects.

Mr History will shorten his working week to allow time to disinfect and clean the gloves and equipment between schools. We are aware that guidelines may change in the weeks between now and the start of the autumn term. Please let us know what you would like us to do to keep everybody safe!
